Hello, bonjour. Thank you for taking the time to explore the site.

I spent many years exploring the pageant scene in Canada. In my twenties, I worked as a coach, consultant, and organizer, most notably for the Miss World Canada contest from 2003 to 2007, but I also assisted with, judged, and collaborated with events in every corner of Canada.

For over 10 years, I also ran a website focusing on pageant news and history, modestly called Jimmy's Pageant Page. Through this site, I was in touch with hundreds of former contestants, titleholders, and community members of Miss Canada, Miss Dominion of Canada, and other events. It would be great to reconnect.

I am no longer involved in the pageant "world", but look back fondly at some special moments of the years that I was involved. The history is what interests me now.

Mainstream media that have reached out to me for interviews in four languages (English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese) include dozens of local, national, and international media, including Reuters, Associated Press, Canadian Press, CBC, Radio-Canada, and CTV, in addition to dozens of national and regional newspapers and two documentary films.

I am on sabbatical from work, aiming to complete a fantastic draft of this exciting project.

The Fairest Girl in Canada has been a (off-and-on again) project for many years and I am pleased to have the time to help it come to fruition. The end result will be a book that can be cherished by fans of Canadiana, pop culture, and fashion alike.
